Our core business is the development of recombinant proteins produced in human cell lines for therapeutic use in humans. We strive for effective treatments with an improved tolerability and convenience for our patients.
We are looking for a skilled and detailed-oriented Working Student (m/f/d) to support our R&D Formulation Development Team in the creation of a buffer library to be used for formulation screening of liquid and lyophilized therapeutic proteins. The successful applicant will also support the buffer preparation for the entire R&D department and act as a technical support in the execution of formulation experiments and studies.
This temporary position is available at the next possible date at our site in Heidelberg.
What will you be doing as Working Student?
- Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions according to established protocols
- Maintain accurate records of buffer preparation, including batch numbers and concentrations, in an electronic database
- Perform buffer analyses including pH and osmolality measurements
- Provide technical support in experiments and studies
- Assist in sample and material inventory management
- Adhere to safety and company policies at all times
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area
Who are you?
- Currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in biochemistry, biology, biophysics, pharmaceutics or a related field
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as pH meters, scales, and pipettes
- Proactive with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
