This position is to be filled as soon as possible up to 3 years and with 100 % of the tariff working hours (part-time is possible, please state when applying whether you would also be interested in a part-time job).
Salary: E 13 TV-L
You will be employed to work independently on research topics in the field of additive manufacturing of powder-based metallic and intermetallic materials. Your work will focus either on material or process development. You will be jointly responsible for the expansion and maintenance of the laboratory equipment, take on organizational tasks, regularly take part in meetings and actively exchange ideas with partners.

You have successfully completed a master-s degree as well as a doctorate in materials science, mechanical engineering, physics or similar, are interested in additive manufacturing of metallic materials and would like to gain further qualifications in your postdoc phase.

This is a qualification position in the sense of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG), which serves to support a Habilitation program. The position is temporary for the duration of the Habilitation process, but initially up to 3 years. An extension for the completion of the Habilitation is possible within the time limits of the WissZeitVG.
