Head of - Data Management (m/f/d)

Exciting opportunities await you - as Head of Data Management within Regulatory Affairs, you will be the process owner of global alignment in product hazard classification, labeling and packaging requirements, providing support and direction to the regional Regulatory Affairs Heads and Managers, generating periodical regional compliance reports and controls, resolving problems, determining root causes and taking corrective action. You will also consult and advise within the product development process on raw materials, product classifications and labelling, accelerating product introduction, and interact on behalf of BYK with national and international committees, industrial trade associations, agencies and governmental organizations. Your other tasks include:

• Ensuring compliant transportation of hazardous products, distribution of safety data sheets and label information
• Communicating consistent, compliant and timely product information to BYK customers
• Building expert knowledge to support product compliance in BYK’s digital transformation, e.g. from SAP EHS to S/4HANA
• Modeling, defining, and measuring E2E processes in BPMN 2.0
• Closely collaborating regarding digital services, both self-service and publishing to digital channels via PIM
• Assisting in the digitization and automatic capture of data, e.g. safety data sheets and TDS, as well as system interfaces (SAP Salesforce PIM)
• Designing solutions related to derivable measures in response to regulatory changes

With this profile, you convince us - if you have a degree in the natural sciences - preferably a PhD, in chemistry or similar -, a long-standing extensive track record in product safety and regulatory affairs as well as in-depth experience in SAP and excellent decision-making capabilities with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt priorities based on business needs, we would greatly like to hear from you.
