Postdoc Computational Neuropathology - Multi-Omics Data Integration (m/f/d)

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will:

• Harness a comprehensive dataset spanning digital pathology images, methylation profiles, DNA and RNA sequencing, proteomics, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics data.
• Develop and implement a scalable multi-omics analysis blueprint, combining existing tools with the development of innovative approaches (including state of the art deep learning applications) for efficient data integration.
• Generate actionable insights to advance both diagnostic applications and fundamental research in neuropathology.
• Establish a generalizable workflow for multi-omics data integration and interpretation that can easily be adapted for different tumor entities and applications.

• A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
• Proven experience in large-scale omics data analysis, preferably spanning multiple omics domains (e. g. methylation profiling, DNA / RNA sequencing, proteomics, single-cell or spatial transcriptomics, or digital pathology)
• Strong programming (Python / R) and analytical skills, with proficiency in bioinformatics tools, statistics and machine learning. Experience with SQL databases is preferred
• A creative and problem-solving mindset, capable of translating complex datasets into actionable workflows and meaningful biological insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
