The Capasso lab is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated bioinformatician / computational biologist to join a team of cell and molecular biologists working on the immune system and its changes in aging and neurodegeneration. The projects will focus on interrogating and integrating existing transcriptome, translatome, and proteome datasets generated from genetically engineered mouse models, with a specific focus on regulation of mRNA translation downstream mTOR activation in microglia. This program of work is based on published / unpublished studies from the team.
The position is initially limited to 18 months.
