Artilysin®s are muralytic proteins which are active on gram-positive and gram-negative target bacteria. In order to expand our team, we are looking for a highly motivated senior scientist with experience in protein engineering at the earliest possible date. We expect a goal-oriented personality with a strong scientific background and analytical skills whilst showing positive communication and team-leading skills.

Senior Scientist protein engineering / molecular biology (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Molecular design, protein engineering and characterization of Artilysin®s according to project specifications
Oversight of one or more internal and/or customer-related projects
Organizational oversight of project related lab activities including coordination of external service providers to ensure project progress
Analysis, documentation and presentation of scientific data

Your profile:

PhD in biochemistry, biology or equivalent
Strong scientific background in molecular biology / protein engineering
Experience in leading projects including coordination of various stakeholders
Prior experience in industrial environment highly regarded
A reliable, self-motivated and flexible team player
Strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written English
Strong prioritization skills and ability to work to strict timelines
Strong analytical and strategic skills with a highly structured working approach
