Postdoctoral Fellowship (m/f/d) - Cell Biology / Immunology
Full- or part-time | temporary contract (36 months) | Institute for Experimental Hematology
Your responsibilities:
Integrin-mediated adhesion and signaling is crucial for multicellular organisms and must be tightly controlled as its misregulation or malfunction can lead to severe disease. Integrin activity is regulated at multiple levels, including a change in ligand affinity and spatial organization. In our project, we are investigating the molecular mechanisms controlling integrin function in hematopoietic cells by combining biochemical and cell biological approaches with in vivo studies in self-made mouse models.
- Experience in functional characterization of immune cells by flow cytometry / cell sorting
- Knowledge of basic biochemical assays to characterize protein interactions
- Experience in animal experimental research (mouse)
- Interest in bioinformatics to analyze omics datasets
- Very good English language skills
